Who we are
FEXO INC. operates IGTA, the business directory at https://igta.ca. This policy explains how information is handled through our website, accounts, listings and communications.

Information you provide and how it is used
Accounts. Registration collects your username and email address. Your account also stores authentication information and any profile details you provide. We use these to operate your account, associate your listings with it, and send account and password-recovery messages.
Business listings. We receive the information you submit, including business names, contact details, addresses or service areas, categories, descriptions, opening hours, photographs and logos. We use this information to create and manage directory listings. Published listing information is public and may be indexed by search engines or copied by other visitors.
Contact messages. Our contact form receives your name, email address, subject and message and sends them to our administrative mailbox so we can respond. Listing enquiry forms and other available forms may also retain information associated with the enquiry. Avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information through these forms.
Comments and reviews. We receive the content and author information you submit. WordPress comment records can include an IP address and browser information. If approved for publication, comments and reviews display their content and associated public author information. Email addresses supplied in the standard comment email field are not displayed as comment text; anything you put in the comment itself may be public.
Cookies and technical information
WordPress uses cookies to support sign-in, sessions and account preferences. Where offered, a comment-form option can remember your details for later comments. Browser settings let you restrict or delete cookies; blocking authentication cookies can prevent sign-in.
Website and service logs can contain technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser information. These records support operating the website and diagnosing problems. Directory features also maintain listing-related activity records, including views, reviews and enquiries.
Service providers and external resources
Hosting. IGTA’s WordPress application is hosted on Amazon Web Services Lightsail in the Canada Central region. This does not mean that all information handled by every external service remains in Canada.
Email. Website email is sent through WP Mail SMTP using the authenticated mail server sh-cp7.yyz2.servername.online. Messages are also handled and retained by the sending and receiving mail services. The website’s settings do not establish those providers’ mailbox or backup retention periods.
Spam protection. Configured forms use Google reCAPTCHA. Using those forms loads Google’s service, which processes technical information to assess automated activity.
Maps and other resources. Maps use OpenStreetMap tiles. Some pages also load Google Maps resources, Google Fonts, icons or scripts from external services, including Icons8 and jsDelivr. Loading an external resource sends a request to its provider and can disclose your IP address, browser information and request details.
Profile images. Where Gravatar images are displayed, the site requests an image using a hash derived from an email address. Gravatar is operated by Automattic. Its privacy information explains how that service handles requests.
Optional AI features. The website includes an integration for AI-assisted search and listing assistance using OpenAI. When you use an available AI feature, the search request or conversation and business information you enter can be sent to OpenAI to generate a response. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information into an AI prompt. An installed integration does not mean every directory search uses AI.
Website software. WordPress and installed components contact their vendors for functions such as updates and licensing. Elementor usage reporting is enabled for the site software.
Embedded content and links to other websites are handled by their respective operators. Their privacy practices may differ from ours. External services may process information outside Canada.
Plans and payment information
IGTA offers listing plans and associates plan and order information with directory activity. At the time this policy was prepared, the website’s PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout and wire-transfer checkout methods were disabled. This policy does not describe any of those services as an active payment processor. If a payment method is introduced, the relevant collection and provider information must be updated before it is used.
Retention and deletion
There is currently no configured automatic age-based deletion schedule for ordinary accounts, active or inactive listings, comments or reviews. These records can remain until removed through administration or an applicable privacy request. Contact email and retained form enquiries do not have a verified automatic deletion period. Recovery backups may contain earlier copies after information is changed or removed from the live website.
WordPress has housekeeping for temporary records and a 30-day trash setting; that is not a 30-day limit for all website information. Web-server log rotation is configured separately. These processes do not establish a deletion deadline for mailbox copies, backups or information held by external providers.
Contact us to discuss removal of information associated with you. The records involved, listing ownership, other people’s information and any applicable legal retention requirements must be considered. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or third-party system.
Access, correction and privacy questions
You can use the available account and listing controls to update information you manage. You may also contact info@igta.ca to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need information to verify your identity and authority over an account or listing before acting. Do not email your password or identity documents unless a secure, appropriate verification process has been agreed.
Security and public information
The website uses HTTPS, account authentication and administrative access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Publish only information and images you are authorized to share. Photos can contain embedded location or other metadata; remove information you do not want disclosed before uploading.
Policy changes
We will publish changes on this page and identify the publication date. Changes to services or information handling should be reflected in this policy.
